opening a .chm file from php

How do I call a .chm file from php. I need to display help when ever user requires it. If I just point out to the path of .chm file it asks for download. I dont want this . Is there any way that I can open the .chm file directly from a php file without downloading.??

I don't think thats possible if it were, people could provide malicious chm files and automaticaly put a virus or trojan on someones computer.

You can try looking at the header function http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.header.php
and see if header("Content-type: application/chm"); would work but i doubt it.

Why a .chm anyway? What's wrong with ordinary "uncompiled" HTML?
