[Resolved] Date And Time!?!

can someone plz tell me why php thinks its dec. 31, 1969??? and 4 o' clock?

I'm pretty sure the ,$date was causing the error because the date function was trying to see $date as a timestamp.. which probably came out to be 0000000000 (i'm not sure exactly), hence the 1969 date
