Error Reporting Display Help

Can anyone please tell me how to turn of the display of the following error that is received when a user tries to upload a file larger than the specified maximum size?

Warning: fread(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/quickoff/public_html/listings/dsp_admin.php on line 113

I'd like to handle this in a prettier way for the user.

Is this something that can be done with error_reporting, or settings in an .htacess file?

You probably need to check the
$_FILES['userfile']['error']
var. before doing anything with the upload.
