[Resolved] HTML formatted mail

Ok, I have an interesting problem here...

I have my email message all formatted correctly. At work I am using office 2000 and the email that gets sent after filling out a form (the email is html formatted) work perfectly, everything is formatted correctly.

but, I just tried receiving the mail with outlook XP and it is interpreting it as plain text... any ideas?

my mail code is as follows:

$msg = "$scary";
$to = "$email";
$subject = "Taking the Scare out of Auto Repair";
$mailheaders = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n";
$mailheaders .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n";
$mailheaders .= "From: Useful Information from Douglas Automotive <[e-mail]>\r\n";
mail($to, $subject, $msg, $mailheaders);

Not sure but try putting "Content-type:" line to the end:

$mailheaders = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n";
$mailheaders .= "From: Useful Information from Douglas Automotive <[e-mail]>\r\n";
$mailheaders .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n";
mail($to, $subject, $msg, $mailheaders);

I had huge problems with some of my recievers getting my html-mail as plain text. Everything was solved when I removed \r from the line breaks so all I had left was \n. So, at the contrary of what the above text says, some mail transfer agents worked fine with \r\n but all worked with just \n. Odd!

Interesting, I removed the \r and indeed everything works fine. Does anyone see any drawbacks to this?
