SEEKING: USPS shipping calc code

I'm looking for code that will poll the US Postal Service site and get back shipping prices. I've seen a few scripts around that did this, but they are out of date. I looked at the USPS site, but didn't see anything php oriented.

Anybody have a currently working function or code segment?

Funny, i'm revisiting this idea, and i found this old post I made on the same topic. Anybody work on such a project since?

I know the USPS has modified their rate calculator page, so I believe it may be easier to work with again.
