Which templating method

Im currently making a fairly big forum.. And using the vBulletin style of templating. Which has all your html code in the database etc..

Now its ok for now. But im a little concerned if theres more than 4styles of templates.. Which would make it like 1mb Big. Just for Templates.

Although MySQL can handle that. Is this a good templating method that people would rather..

Or do you like the PHPBB way. Which is upload .tpl files etc to the server in the templates folder and just create the name in the database and your done..

Im not looking at which is best. Im looking at effiecency and What you would prefer?

Any suggestions.. Or different templating methods would be good to good...

heh.. yea i know.. vbulletin stuffed up... hmm.. another bug found in the vbulletin code.

vBulletin 2.3.0 is bug-free.

You must've clicked "allow multiple choice".

personally i'd use the phpBB style just because you can change one section of te site without having to use anadmin panel or phpMyAdmin or something like that. no db to work with makes it easier to change things, imho.
