What program do you use to get your files from your computer onto the server?
Tell me about the program you use. I use WinSCP, a free, graphical-based file-transferring program.

I used to use PSFTP, but then I found WinSCP; it's got so many options! It's really cool; you should try it. I don't know if you can do this with WSFTP, but you can create bookmarks, automatically select a lot of different images with the same name, etc.

Use what you will; it doesn't make all too much of a difference...

The only reason I'm not going to use it is because I find WinSCP a lot simpler to follow and because I'm the only person working on this website, almost always on the same computer.

Anyway, I use WinSCP or command-line SFTP/SCP, and on rare instances, the built-in SSH client ("Open from server") in UltraEdit 😉

Yeah, I know, some people who can type really fast use PSFTP.

I mean, I used it for practically a year before I decided that WinSCP was better.

I hard code them in ASCII mode, yes indeed!! Learning was like kicking dead whales down the beach, but now I'm so 133t I can crank out the web's best girlie pics in less than an hour with Notepad !!

Believe it? Well, maybe you can believe some of it ... when I need to transfer files I use sftp or psftp ... never use FTP --- why float the pw's in cleartext?

The server I use is really slow, so using pico is inefficient for me.
