Very sorry! I figured my problem out as soon as I posted the message. Is there a way to delete your own posts / threads?

Yes. Click the 'edit' button on the first post in the thread. There is a checkbox near the top left that says "delete this post." If it's the first post in the thread, the entire thread will be deleted.

I wonder if it will set your post count to '0' as well ... you better stick around and ask another question, eh? 🙂

Not in any way I can think of. More than 50% of the registered members have a post count of zero ...
