Currently using EasyPhp. Its a couple of ticks behind the curve - as in using versions of apache 1.3.24, mysql 3.23.29 and php 4.2.0.
Tried upgrading php but that knocked the setup for a loop. Given a little more time I'm guess we could have figured out the upgrade processes for each.
Other than that, ideal for testing stuff on a billy gates platform and helps "flatten" the learning curve in coming to grips with these tools.
Best use the default set up - that is, installing it on your C drive. Saves having to go frigging in the rigging. Works like the real thing - may be better. Meaning - as in having access to items like the php.ini and all the other files making up your projects and this before going live. Hope this helps
