hi all,
i am a windows user, recently i am starting to shift to linux system, the linux system i chose is redhat 9.0. i have many difficulties while i am using it due to lack of linux experiences so hereby i have some questions to ask,
during installation, i chose to let redhat to install apache server and php as default, yet after install i am quite confused about the configuration, the problem is i do not now which directory it puts all those files.
at last i got apache directory as
server rootb
/etc/httpd
document root
/home/httpd
others
etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf (main configuration file)
etc/mime.type (mine type files)
var/log/httpd/error_log
var/log/httpd/access_log
var/run/httpd.pid
but for php(redhat default installation)
so i need someone could tell me the php directory struction
AND, how to configure it work with apache?
please tell me using the redhat default installation.
the articles i found in the internet all talking about the clean installation of php and apache, which is not really exactly what i want in this case.
so please any linux guru help me in this problem
