Configuration File Path

recently i just reinstalled PHP with APache2

question is, when i run phpinfo();
the Configuration File (php.ini) Path is at C:\WINNT

how do i change this to C:\php??

Hi jassh,

I dont think you can do this (I may be wrong).
If your using apache you can add a php.ini file to any directory under htdocs (root probably) as this will override the winnt php.ini file.
I dont think you can just pick anywhere to place it!!

Hi Stuart..

well.. the question arise coz on my previous installation
the php.ini path is pointed at my c:/program files/php
and i got this one more setup which points at c:/winnt/system32
so i was wondering why the new installation is pointing to /winnt

kinda weird huh..??
i'm sure there are a parameter which determines that..
but no prob.. i dont mind where its at..
as long as the webserver is working 🙂
just curious though...
