preg_replace help...

hey,

I have a DB string containing text.. I basically need to srtip out anything apart from spaces and "\" chars...

I have the following:

preg_replace("/[^a-z 0-9]/i", '', $row2['name'])

which seems to strip everything but spaces and text... so thats ok.... but I need it to leave in the "\" and "/" chars...

I searched the PHP manual, but couldnt seem to located what I needed.....

any helps much appreciated..!!

preg_replace("/[^{a-z0-9\/\]/i",} '', $row2['name']);
