Cascading dynamic menu on the same page

I have set a address database.

The client to sort the query must specify three things :
CATEGORY
COUNTRY
TOWN

I have set those on a page with 3 dynamic menu (http://www.israelfr.com/adr/indexx.php)

I'm sure that CATEGORY or COUNTRY or TOWN are real and not null.

BUT... as all the 3 menu are indepandant, they are blind. Wich mean that the client can ask for a address in an existing CATEGORY, an existing COUNTRY and an existing TOWN but where they are no record !

The proper way should be.

The client choose from the first popup a CATEGORY

Then the second popup shows ONLY the COUNTRY where their are records for this CATEGORY
Then the client choose the COUNTRY

Then the third popup shows ONLY the TOWN where their are records for this CATEGORY AND COUNTRY
Then the client choose TOWN

That way we are sure that the client submit a NOT NULL query were they are address for the CATEGORY and COUNTRY and TOWN.

Of course, i could build 3 pages for every step (very ugly indeed)
How to put it together on one page ?

You need JAVA to do this really as PHP Is server side.

Ok,

Look like the idea BUT...

This Javascript didn't look at a database to get its item there are static and written one by one.

Array[0] = new sElement('UK','En','England')

So how change it as PHP dynamic menu that goes take the variable from the database itself ?

Frankly i post in newbie... cause i'm one ! 😕

Or when you said "PHP is Server Side" do you mean it is simply impossible ?

But if we consider this script, we can imagine a query that "auto populate" all the EXISTING possibility at page loadup.
