Dammit, can't do it, need help :mad:
Esteemed gentlemen (and ladies), I have some pictures on my site, when I click them, I want a sound to play.
I can:
a) Open a new window, with an HTML <EMBED IMG kind of code that plays the sound, or
b) I can use frames, and hopefully reopen only the frame which has the same embed stuff as above - ie, only runs once, on open.
or c), use an Iframe, which is neater looking
I don;t quite know how to do any of this though.
My pictures are all server generated. I need to know what picture I clicked, and pass that variable to the option above that somehow plays a sound. There will be a wav file of the same name as any picture in the wav directory.
Actually the pictures don;t have names, they are server generated, the names are ImageTTF'd onto the picture (The graphics routines know what each picture is, as they have to create them, but once created and displayed, um...).
The problem might be more HTML than PHP, but I am not much of an HTML-er.
So to summarise, I want to click on server generated images and play associated Wavs. Please help. Can't fail at the last hurdle! 🙁
