form problems

Hi,

I am having problems with form variables getting sent to a php page (as an action), the php page returns Undefined variable when I try display the form data.

I am using Windows XP pro, PHP4.3.2, Apache 2.0.47(Win32).

When I use a live server: linux, PHP4.3.2, Apache 1.3.27 - everything works out fine so I'm sure it's a config issue in the httpd.conf file or something. Can anyone help me to make it work on my local system?

Hi,
Try to read it from $POST[] or $GET[] arrays, like this

$myvalue=$POST["myvalue"] ;
$myvalue=$GET["myvalue"];

I figured it out eventually.

The solution:

In PHP.ini (usually in the Windows directory) I changed the value of

register_globals=Off

register_globals=On
