someone hacked the supraforums.com edited the index.php now the index.php is replaced with a index.html
any help or suggestion on what to do?
I did research on this .. found out that the index.php was altered, no access was needed.
a php page was used to connect to this index.php. does anybody know the code that does it?
the chmod settings are all set to r only some are x's

What forum are you using?
You can delete the index.html, but you need to apply some patche to your forum to stop hackers.

i found out that the php was a version 2 and not configured well, the php excutes local commands with web server privleges..
can u explain how that was done?
There are holes found in lots of scripts all the time. Not knowing what scripts you are running really makes it hard to tell how they did it. I have seen scripts that a child could hack!
