i need a simple photo gallery

I want to be able to place my photos on my website but instead of taking ages making thumbnails and linking 2 them i need a script that does it for me. ive seen a few that auto generate thumbnails but they all have shit like slide shows, sign up and upload your own fotos and alot of other weird shit.

i just want something basic. where i can drag all my fotos into a folder on my web.. have them generated as thumbnails on a php page and be able to have a little description under it, then it can be clicked to show the full image...

but i aint seen nothing like this neither do i have an idea how to code something like this,

look at opendir() readdir(), they arent that hard to make, the hardest part IMO is the outputting the thumbnails (and thats only because I havent done any image functions yet)
