Easiest install of php4 with PEAR yet. Get it at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/universal-auth/ It's called, 'Graphical PHP Installer for Windows' and works without a hitch. All I had to do was run the program and Php and Pear were installed and working without any further php.ini tweaking. It was that simple!!! You first need Apache installed however, but the Apache for Windows installer works flawlessly as well . Get it here: http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/win32/ and then download this file: apache_1.3.28-win32-x86-no_src.msi The installer does the rest. Good Luck!
Thanks for posting this. I had installed PHP on Win2000 with IIS and had some problems getting it to work (I posted a question here.) Downloaded this file and ran it and voila... It works fine😃
