Why is it I can only get PHP to run first of all when the files I want are in the 'Sites' folder in my user directory. And second I have to type in 127.0.0.1/~username/test.php or whatever PHP file I want to test. Why can't I just drag and drop a file onto Safari to check it? It doesn't work when I do this. Maybe I just need to know more about the Unix environment but some explanation would be nice.
because if you drag and drop onto safari, you aren't running the page thru apache and php to be interpreted, you are only asking safari to run what it sees
