scheduling in postgres

Hi all,

I've PHP, Postgres in Linux. I would like to create a php script and schedule it to run once every 2 days or specified date and time. I could not exact info anywhere. Is there any help????

Is there any way to do a job scheduling in Postgres database as in MS- Sql server?

You will have to use cron to execute your script every 2 days.
Not a very nice number to try and do with cron, prob. better off executing it every day and working out 2 days from there.

Try

man cron
man crontab
man 5 crontab

This will help to get it going.
