multi keyword search

I am having difficulties in creating a search box that can handle more than one keyword. At the moment the search facility works fine if you only enter one keyword. It needs to search 3 fields in 2 tables and return the values. The values have a hyperlink to a detail page using the ID field of one of the tables.

I don't think I have explained it too well - but I hope someone can help.

I know that I need to use explode() or strtok() - but I just can't get them to work.

name seach boxes as: sb[]
then you can loop values:
$qstr = "WHERE 1=1 ";
for($a=0;$a<3;$a++) {
$qstr = $qstr."AND yourField = '".$sb[$a]."' ";

}
