Where can i find a .pkg to intall a stable version of php onto my raq550 so that i can just get on and work without having to spend days on the internet looking......

Shouldn't that be the job of the folks who made / sold you your raq550?

I use RedHat on intel, dead simple install, and it's all configured to just work out of the box.

maybe it should... i hadn't thought about that... they don't seem to know what they are talking about half the time though...

Aren't those guys owned by Sun now? If they treat the linux on their Raqs anything like they do Solaris, don't expect anything to ever get any easier.

Sun makes some nice hardware, and Solaris is a rock solid stable OS, but they have no clue about how to make something simple and easy... 🙁

tell me about it... I have found one now thanks and installed... I know it has to be complex to keep us simple folk out of the gang but I just wish they would standardize everything and put it all in one place..
