Compare Dates

I was wondering if anyone knew how to compare dates. I have already gone to the PHP Manual but could not find out how to do it. thanks

thanks for the page. I looked at it and i couldnt find anything that might help me. unless im overlooking something. all the functions there are to get the date. not to compare them. so if you could point me even closer to the answer that would be very helpful.

well if you are getting dates with the functions, try using some comparison operators like:

< or > or ==

things like that

i've tried that already however it didnt work. it didnt take out the dates it should have. you wouldnt happen to know how to do it using SQL would you? is it just using <>= operators? cause i remember back in school you couldnt do that cause it wouldnt compare the proper things
