About 6 months ago I installed PHP 4 / MySQL and IIS on my Win XP Professional Machine to use them as a test server and I couldn't be happier. It's 10 times easier than uploading a file to my web host every time I want to view a slightly altered file.
Now, I'd like to turn my home machine into a web server, with its files available to any computer on the internet. How can I turn my test server into a web server? Right now my test directory is C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ so what changes do I have to make in IIS to make files publicly available? Can anyone recommend any good ways to start out? Even a link to a good online tutorial would be helpful. Thanks.
