Sorry if my question is too elementary, but i thought I'd ask it anyway just to make sure I don't screw up my configuration.
I've previously installed PHP 4.3.2 from source on my Slackware Linux-based system. I've been using it for several months and it's been working fine.
Now, however, I need to use a new PHP extention (PHP-Java, to be specific), but I didn't build this module when I built PHP months ago.
So I'm curious as to whether it's possible to build JUST that extension and install it into my existing PHP configuration, and what I need to do, to do this.
If anyone can help walk me through it, or point me to some relevant documents, it'd be greatly appreciated.
