Print result in table

This works and I get a result But for the life of me I just canot find a way to put the result where I want it

Well, it might help if you didn't try to print the result before you have it. :-)

Move the print statement below the query, and replace (RESULT) with $numRows.

PHP expands variables in doublequoted strings.

Thank you I just couldnt see that
the only other thing Im having a problem with is

I want to put this /<? print date("F jS, Y"); ?>/

in this part of th upper table

/
print "<td align=right rowspan=2 width=130><font face=Arial (HERE) >\n"; /

All I can seem to do is get T_String and syntax errors.

the rest now works nicely doing its poll

I actually figured it out on my own
just took a little jumping in and out of php to make it work
now it works just like I wanted it to
