Know of any basic online database tutorials?

Anybody know of any good online database tutorials for starting my first database? I need a real basic one with step by step instructions.

w3schools has one....

search for SQL UPDATE on google, its one of the first 5 matches.... not sure how complete it is, but I do go there for references when I think I jacked up syntaxes and such
