Navigation menu like in Java? Possible?

Hi,

Would like to do a simple vertical menu on my site that shows:

Films
Theater
Museum
"

If I for exapmle click on Music it should show:

DVD
CD
LP
MD
Films
Theater
Museum
"

If I click on FIlms it maybe will look like:
"
Music
Films
DVD
VHS
8 mm
Other formats
Theater
Museum
"

Is it possible without a LOT of work?

Through PHP it would only be possible if the page refreshed each time the link was clicked. However, you could use DHTML or JS, but that's a whole different language & topic.
