Hi
I'm new so be nice !
Basically I have a URL that may or may not have additional variables:
ie
www.mysite/file.php
OR
www.mysite/file.php?var=100
I have been looking at QUERY_STRING ; $_GET etc but as I have found out if you call these when there is nothing for them to gather then you get a nasty Notice :
Undefined index: QUERY_STRING in ...
OR
Undefined index: var in.... etc
What I am asking is this:
Is there any way to get the FULL url and see if you can use $_GET.
(I looked at the URL function and it doesn't print the full url... BTW I am not on Apache - just windows...)
There must be a way of parsing the url to see what's in it and then either calling $_GET or not but I don't know how to do it - if you have come across this before and can help let me know - cheers - Ed
