Passing variables through the URL

I'm kind of stuck here, I am making a gaming ladder for Medal of Honor Allied Assault, and i have:

viewladder.php

which is where i load all the ladders,
(such as viewladder.php?id=1)

i have that now, and i want to make it so i can load a certain ladder and a page like:

viewladder.php?id=1&page=1

how do i do this?

i use the simple code:

switch($_GET['id'])
{


case "1":
include("1.php");
exit;
break;

default:
break;

} 

?>

right now

<?PHP

switch($_GET['id']){
case 1:
include("1.php");
break;

default:
break;
} 

?>

that should work, what seems to be the problem ??

no problem i just want to pass more than one variable:

instead of viewladder.php?id=1

i want viewladder.php?id=1&page=1

That's fine too. With viewladder.php?id=1&page=1 you'll have $GET["id"] and $GET["page"].

I have viewladder.php which is where i pass the first variable (?id=1) to make viewladder.php?id=1

ladder 1 has more than one page to it, like Ranks 1-20, then 21-40, and so on.

I want to make it so i can pass 2 variables through one url like so:

for page one:
viewladder.php?id=1&page=1

for page two:
viewladder.php?id=1&page=2

and so on for all of the pages of ladder 1.

Ooo...looks like you're after pagination. Search these forums for it as there are probably hundreds of posts regarding it. One good example is here.

I think pagination is just a little complicated..... Do you know how to do what helado says in the second post here
