One Year on vB

Folks! We have completed one on this new board (v😎. Incidently I registered on the boards this day only. On 12th Aug,2002 I decided I will register here and on 13th all looked different. Took me sometime to realize that they had changed the board software.
BTW, as I tell this I have completed 500 quality posts in last one year while jstarkey has 777 right now 🙂

Don't really know what to say, just that it has been a pleasure helping out the n00bs around here, LOL! I joined on 9-30-2002, and have 3068 posts as of this one, and only my first one was a question. After that I decided I would give to the community, rather than ask for help since I really don't need it anyway.

Well, I don't have as many posts as Stolzy, but I can say that I joined before it got taken over and suddenly (as Jayant said) it all changed... twilight zone music

I think I was the third person to be mod-ified (after jayant and daynah) and haven't looked back since.

jstarkey, any idea what the exact date of the The Big Switchover was?

I have just joined, but i find this as a nice place for discussing PHP! It's also a very PHP pointed place, that's nice... all other forums on the net are typical 20% programming and 80% free discussion!

I joined in July '02, and it's funny, but I don't remember the pre-vB board ...

Somewhat like stolzyboy, I only asked a few ?? and then at some point decided I should share my "wisdom" ...

Of course, I'm the klugemaster and at least half my posts are EL cruft ... but occasionally I get one right out in the forums, and my memory's OK, so I can usually point folks in the right direction ... besides, how hard is it to say "RTFM, n00b!!"?? 😃
