Heh... i know at tafe i goto we all talk about the dreaded blue screen.. But heh thats a good one..

XP removed the blue screen of death. Now your computer just reboots without warning. I don't know which is worse at least without the blue screen I get to be surprised and can pretend it's a present though.

Interesting everyone I know who has tried xp has had less trouble with it then with 2k.

I was on XP, but my laptop didnt have enough memory so I went to 2k (which I'm having no probs with) and just as soon as I've got more memory (which will happen soon) I'm goin straight back to XP.

win2k does that too and you can turn off that feature in both 2k and xp, i know my boss turned it off in his xp, i have 2000 and don't know where it is, but it is there

Haven't had the blue screen of death in a long time...

Oh well...I haven't done much recently to actually crash the computer...

I'm a Linux man, but i like Windows 2000 as wall for workstation... I still have it on my workstation, because i need to do some Win32 programming.

But the function you guys are talking about is located at:
Right click My Computer -> goto the fann named Advanced. Then click on the buttom System and Recovery. Theres a frame called System Failiur, and a checkbox called Automatic Reboot!

a long way for a little function!
