[Resolved] Stupid Question - Numbered query results!

I'm sure I knew the answer to this, and I'm sure it's really obvious, but I've searched the forums and googled loads but can't find the answer!

How do I show the row number of my query results? So if the first page of results has results(rows) 1 to 15 of 40, I would like to display '1' next to the first result, '2' by the second and so on.

I'm sure I'll kick myself when I find out the answer, but I seem to be having a mental block! Please help!!🙂

but on page 2 he'll still be showing 1 - 15 which isn't what he wants try this

i realize that, he didn't say he needed help with the queries, he just said he needed help with the numbering, i assumed he had the next business dealt with, 'tis why i only did a numbered loop

It was just the pointer I needed. It's now all working just as I wanted.
