Creating SECURE PDFs

Hi,

I want to figure out how to create a PDF so that it is "secure". I don't want viewers of the PDF the ability to modify or highlight or anything to do with editing the PDF that is generated.

You can't edit a pdf anyway...

I'm creating the PDF dynamically, so is there no way to send some sort of variables to the PDF engine to say I want to make the PDF un-editable?

dude, PDF's are already uneditible as far as I know. even if they are made dynamically.

If you can take the pencil tool and scribble, the PDF doc is editable.

You can create a PDF in such a way that the viewer can basically on print it... They won't be able to "select all" or highlight portions....
