Warnings with PHP 4.3.1

I recently upgraded to PHP 4.3.1, using PHP home edition 2.2.8, and also running apache 2.0.45.

I get a new error with one of my includes that now gives me this message AFTER all of the content on the page has been displayed:

Warning: main(.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\PHPsite\Oxion\index.php on line 73

Warning: main(): Failed opening '.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;C:\Program Files\PHP Home Edition 2\Apache2\php\') in D:\PHPsite\Oxion\index.php on line 73

The wierd thing is that the content comes up fine, but then displays that warning after. I tried installing PHP 4.3.2, and get the same error, but now with a link to the PHP manual (php.net) on a page relating information about the main() function:

http://ca.php.net/manual/en/function.main.php

but i couldn't get any information about how to get rid of the error, only that this is new to php 4.3.0 and up.

I think I've tried as many alterations to php.ini and httpd.conf as I can think of with no real result. I've also seen other references to the problem in this forum and elsewhere, but still no solution to the problem.

Any suggestions?

Have you googled this? I swear I ahad the same problem with an upgrade on a linux machine. I think I found it after a google.

If I remember what the issue was, I'll let you know.
