Page titles when using SSI

I wonder if anyone can answer a pretty basic question I have.

the scenario

I just built a site and chose to use headers and footers to make my life easier when it comes to updating the navigation.

Basically, the main table of the page is the only part that can be edited as the top and bottom of the pages are made up of the header and footer.htm.

The problem is that this stops me from being able to give each individual page a title, which in turn makes it harder to index the pages in Google because it can only see the one title for the whole site. Ideally I need to give each airport page its own title so anyone looking for airportcarz at Stansted airport will find that particualr page with minimal searching.

So the question is, is it possible to somehow have individual page titles whilst adopting the SSI method?

ummmmm just make the title be stored in the main page. Remove the title from the header and footer and it SHOULD Work

Are you saying put the title in the body?
