Remove a row from a textfile

I want to remove a row from a text file where a specific word is..
for example if i want to remove a row 3 where the word "Apple" is:

1|Orange|Orange
2|Banana|Yellow
3|Apple|Red
4|Cherry|Red

how do i do it?
