Hi,
Thanks for your support.
My phpnuke site has been having stories replaced so I decided to upgrade php itself.
I've tried re-running the installer and it reports its successfuly installed. However, if i open phpinfo it shows php is at version 4.3.1.
I use ISAPI and noticed the 4ISAPI file didnt have the same date as the one included in the 8mb distubution, so I replaced it with the newer one. I had to shut down the IIS service to do it. That didn't work.
I then tried the installer with the IIS service stopped, thinking it needed to overwrite something else and couldn't, but phpinfo still reports the old version.
I'm wondering if anyone has a link to documentation about upgrading.
I think my next step is to go and start replacing php files manually with the newer version, but that sounds too intrusive. I have to think this process should be defined somewhere, but Im unable to locate documentation about it.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading
