Hello all,
I wrote a script that would open a url and basically 'steal' some of the text from it and subsequently use it in a marquee. It was working great somewhere along the line, it stopped working. Attributing it to something gone wrong with my server as I was majorly messing with it; I decided to nuke my server and re-install it. Needless to say, it didn't help. Here are the problem lines and the error I get at the end of this message.
Somehow, I suspect that fopen is intepreting the url as a local file suddenly and I have no clue as to why.... Any thoughts? Maybe a setting in a place other than php.ini?
Also, thoughts on how to make script lines more legible in this forum would be appreciated...
Thanks for any replies,
Baddogg
