preg_replace_callback order of replacement

Hi there

I'm having a strange problem with the preg_replace_callback function. It seems to replace items in reverse order.

Currently I'm assuming it's the function and not a screw up in my code as the replacement itself works fine but the matches from the string seem to come out in reverse order.

Has anyone got any ides?
