Slightly OT, but related to the celebration of trivial number rollovers.....

You guys should see the pics I took when my truck rolled 99,999 -> 100,000 mi. Not normally special in itself........ but I had reset the trip odo @ 99,000, so it's ALSO rolling over (999.9 -> 000.0) 🙂

I was coming home one night, and at the bottom of the driveway I noticed the odometer sitting on 99,999.900 km. So I drove up and down the street a couple of times, just so that I could pull in to the carport as I hit the hundred grand. Didn't think of the camera 🙁

Well, it sounds like something I might do, too. Better to observe the moment while at rest than just watch it go by while I'm late for some meeting with some client...or church, or Wal-Mart for donuts at 3AM...

Generally it seems to mean one thing when I say it, and quite another when it's my spouse.
