Session Help Please

I just formatted my computer and i installed all the same php apache mysql stuff as i had before but now it doesnt work.

I can't create a session: It gives the error

Warning: open(/tmp\sess_53e1f6a059144fd651e6f2a04b1adbc9, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in c:\phpdev5\www\hscnotes\top.php on line 3

Can anybody help me?

In your php.ini file, change the session.save_path to point to c:\tmp (or some similar location)

I had the session problem when I set things up last time too ... forgot to edit the line in php.ini (Obviously you're in windows, so I'll used a windows dir here). You can use any folder actually, but what I did was create a folder called 'sessions' in my 'c:\www\' folder and point php.ini to it. Simple as pie, but frustrating if you're new to it and don't know what you're looking for. 🆒
