I have a side chat on my site, and I want to be able to say something in that side chat, without me being brung to chat.php. I want to be able to submit the form, and have my input go into chat, but not move from the page I am at. How do I do this?

Sounds like Javascript/frames to me, or some sort of chat applet...

Either look for a Java Chat applet, or learn it yourself.. Im not sure on how hard it is as i havent gone on to learn Java yet.

I'm talking about a normal, PHP chat.

maybe you should give us more detail on what you really want to do, are you at index.php and you want to submit to chat.php, but don't want to go to chat.php or what

if so you can include chat.php in all your pages, then submit to $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] and it should work for ya
