PHP and MySQL Tips

I am starting this topic to help people who want to improve on their PHP skills. If you need some tips on how to prevent bugs and error on your website. So if you have ideas, tips or special skills, be sure you give them here. And for those that have questions related to PHP and MySQL should post their question here for other to answer.

What a great idea. It's so refreshing to have a place where you can ask questions and get answers. What would really be cool is if you could specify in your subject lines what category your question is in, like "General" or "Coding," etc, so people can easily find appropriate answers to their questions. Would it be ok if we posted off topic stuff here too?

Oh, if only there were a way to separate and categorize all the questions!

Ooh, ooh, how about a one for people who are just starting PHP and want to learn the basics. We could call it something like "The Place For People Who Have Just Started". What do you reckon?

Seriously now folks, I don't know whether he's joking or not...

If not, do you reckon this guy has even looked at the rest of the board?

Don't know, don't TRULY care, just was trying to get him to respond to see if he was in dire needs of creating a post or what his motives were.

I wouldn't mind if there was a seperate area for MySQL specific stuff though. So often folks post a question like "How do I do X" and the answer, in every database EXCEPT MySQL is a union, a view, a sequence, or some other thing it's still missing, and, of course, the person posting doesn't mention that they're using MySQL until after you've given them a perfectly good answer. For anything except MySQL.
