Shoutcast + PHP

I am trying to create a PHP script that emulates Winamp DSP plugin. I want to create a PHP script that reads a playlist and sends it to shoutcast.

Has any of you done this. Is there an easy way to let PHP connect and stream to shoutcast? All info and help welcome.
