PHP v4.3.2 - Does it install GD2?

I'm running a php board that I'd like to include a program called Photopost....but it requires that I have GD support....which I don't.

I'm running PHP v4.2.3.

Which I meet all the requirements but the GD support.

Wondering if we install v4.3.2....if it will include GD or GD2?

My webhost is running my site off of a Windows NT 5.0 server and I don't have root access so I can't do the work myself....but just want to know so I can inform my webhost.

Hi there,
I'm not if GD2 is bundled with PHP 4.2.3
You can check if it is installed on the server or not by createing a php info script
<?php
phpinfo();
?>

if GD is installed you can check the GD Version

Open the php.ini file and go to the extentions
if you find "php_gd2.dll" there you can try to add it - but remember to remode php_gd.dll

GD from what I know is not bundled with version 4.2.3, but we are going to upgrade to version 4.3.2. And this is why I'm asking if anyone knows whether it is or is not bundled with the new version we are looking at upgrading to.

Both GD 1 and GD 2 is bundled with php 4.3.2
If you edit the extensions part in the php.ini you will see that both php_gd2.dll and php_gd.dll are there... if you need GD2 just remove the ; infront.
