Reading Database Using PHP and Converting to XML

Hello Friend,
I am developing a dynamic menu into which the options are loaded dynamically using database. For this i want some help.

Now what i want is 😕 method to convert the read data to xml and :rolleyes:can this php generated xml file be read using javascript. Give example.

As for processing it in javascript, its not too hard to do it with Internet Explorer extensions, but I don't know if there's a solution that works for all browsers. It's usually easier to just build javascript arrays instead of XML anyway.
