Also, is there a way to use ftp functions so that instead of just uploading, it moves it so that its not in it's original place anymore? Or do I have to upload it and then unlink the original files?

STOR might not be a command of the FTP server your connection to.

I dont understand the second question, are you tring to upload a file from the server your hosted on to another FTP server your connection though via PHP? If so, then you need to upload the file then unlink it.
