passing info to a session via url

Hi All, this looks like a great site!

I need to have a client send me info via a url, that then will need to go into a session on a site.
Here's what it need to do, whan some comes off his site (different servrr) via a link, he needs to pass me a "yes" or "no"wheather they are a member of his group. I would assume the link would look something like
mysite.com/page.htm?member=yes
if so ,how do I get that into a session so we can track who signed up from there site?

i think that aslong as you have the usual session_start(); at the top of your page then you can do this:

this might work:

if (!empty($member)) {

$_SESSION['member'] = $member;

}

that should work i think 🙂

if not then use this:

if (!empty($_GET['member'])) {

$_SESSION['member'] = $_GET['member'];

}

which might also work
