shopping cart or?..

Hello my dear forum.

i think of payment system for online store.

3 things come to my mind:

1. shopping cart software. try to make it yourself. usefule links? ideas?

2. shopping cart software. buy and install aready one (hopefully it'll take less energy then making it yourself). any ideas, links?

3. a system like paypal, when a click on a product brings a customer to paypal and all he/she have to do is to register there.

seems easy?...

Making a shopping cart, and making it secure is a major undertaking. Unless you are a skilled programmer, you are bset using someone else's.

You can always use PayPal's shopping cart. I couldn't find a shopping cart I like, so I'm writing my own, using PayPal as the payment processor. What can I say, I have way too much time on my hands 😃

It all comes down to how badly you need one. If you need it right here and now, then go with a pre-made one. If you don't really need one right now, can spare a couple of months, and want a major project to work on, then you can write one yourself.
